How big is it really?

10cm across and 8cm tall. It sits comfortably in one hand, roughly the size of a large orange. Smaller than most people picture a skull, so check it against the in-hand photo before you order.

Is there a drainage hole?

No. The base is solid, so it won't mark your windowsill. Put a centimetre of gravel or pebbles in the bottom before the soil, or keep the plant in its plastic nursery pot and sit that inside. Water lightly, and let it dry out between waterings.

What plants actually work in it?

Succulents and cacti, a small fern, trailing ivy, string of pearls, or a pothos cutting. Anything that stays small and doesn't mind a snug root ball. It fits a standard 6cm nursery pot.

Every pot is finished by hand, so I aim to have most orders dispatched within 5 working days. During busy periods this can take up to 14 days, because each one is painted, sealed and checked before it goes anywhere near a box. That is the maximum, not the usual wait. Tracking is emailed as soon as your order is on its way.

Can I put it outside?

Under cover, yes. In a porch or on a sheltered step it is fine. Left in the rain it will fill with water, and hard frost is not kind to resin, so bring it in over winter.

Is every one the same?

No. The moths are placed by hand and the brown ageing is brushed on and wiped back, so the shading and the exact angles differ slightly from pot to pot. Yours will not be identical to the photos.

How do I clean it?

A dry brush or a barely damp cloth. Don't soak it, don't put it in the dishwasher, and keep solvents and bleach away from the painted areas.

How long does delivery take?

Dispatch is usually within 5 working days, up to 14 when it is busy. Shipping after that depends on where you are. Tracking is emailed when it leaves.

What if it arrives damaged?

Send a photo within 48 hours of it landing and a replacement goes out. No need to send the broken one back.

Can I return it?
